5. Why do you think Brenda didn't want to upset the other girls?
It will be horrible if you try to tell those "popular people" that they're wrong. A nd "popular people" , of course, they have so much confidence in themselves that there is no way to change their mind. Because they believe that they're the best.
It this case, for example, Brenda is not that popular and she's quite plump. A nd I have to say that in this cruel modern society, people often look at your appearance and decide whether they're going to accept your idea on not. That's why I think Brenda didn't want to upset the other girls.

| I think Brenda just want her life to be easy and be everybody's friend, didn't want to get trouble.If she made them mad, they will hate her or maybe they will combine more people of their group to say bad things of her, because they are very popular in the school. On the other hand, people may think that Brenda wasn't justice, didn't want to help her friend, but sometimes it have no choice but to do this. I think Brenda is very helpless on herself of the problem, so we shouldn't scold her. |

I won't tell my teacher that my friend cheated. It is not my responsibility to tell the teacher what my friend did. That is a very troublesome thing. Also, I would not get and benefit. Actuality, I will get a disadvantage. For example, my friend won't be far away from me. Furthermore, my classmates will treat me as a spy. So, I will not tell my teacher according to my friend's cheating.

Of course it's my duty to tell the teacher that my friend had cheated!!I think it's very unfair to those who had worked so hard to prepare for the test that someone had cheated on the test and he or she didn't be caught by the teacher.Think about you really worked very hard and burned the night oil to prerpare for the test and someone did't study at all getting higher score than you because of his cheating, what would you think about it??Is there still fairness in the world?!I think it's very important for us to know that we should be honest and responsible for what we do and face it bravely.Furthermore,if we want to get somethings that worth us to pursue with,we should try to get them in the right way and not think about somethings that are unrealistic and incorrect after all.So I think that I 'll feel very guilty in my mind if I didn't tell the teacher the truth that my friend had done a really bad thing.By the way,I don't think it's good for my friend to make the same mistakes again and again if he or she did't be caught in the first time.

People are always protecting their selves. We don't want to be attacked or bothered even our friends got in trouble or something like that. I mean, we should help our family or friends when they have troubles. But the point is we don't have to be involved. If Brenda did something to upset those popular girls, she might be laughed, too. And these girls are so powerful that they could gain most of students' supports, and then Brenda and Felicity would be more lonesome. Brenda was doing what she should do and that could be understood. There is no exact response for that kind of situation. I think Brenda had tried to protect herself and had done a good job.

Define a good friend
In my opinion, a right friend will lead you to heaven; a wrong friend might throw you down to hell.
Especially for the teen that usually listen to their friends more than their families.
A confident is hard to find, difficult to have, but impossible to leave.
Friend and book should be few but good.
Like the proverbs said, "A friend in need is a friend indeed."
A true friend sticks with you through thick and thin no matter what.
A good friend is the one you believing in, talking to, companying with.
Most importantly is that a friend will tell you the truth which you don't tell yourself.
A soul mate is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.
Without talking you can still communicate well and understand each other.

I don't want to offend my friend even if she cheated in the test. I don't think I have to sacrifice our friendship because of her wrong behavior. You know that she has do something wrong. however, you can't change her if she just doesn't want to stop cheating. Someday she'll get caught. Maybe the only thing I'll do is let all this go.
There has a girl, she didn't good at English. So when the day that their English teacher told them they have a test at next English class, she got so upset. At last, she thought a solve way is ---cheat. Therefore, she wrote all of English vocabulary on a piece of paper and she got a really high score. Her friend saw she's cheating. She wanted to change her. She told her not to cheat. The girl who cheated in the test afraid that her friend would tell everyone about what she had done. In the end, they're no longer friend.

I think it is pretty important to build one's self-confidence. It is because that we need to find work in the future. Self-confidence can support your idea. It also can help you having power to solve the problem that you meet. For some examples. We need to find work in the future. If one does not have self-confidence may be nervous or embarrass in the meeting. And also hard to have a good behavior or scared to demonstrate one's skills. Although I think strong self-confidence may be self-fish. But building one's self-confidence is certainly important!

Would you confront your friend about what you saw?
If there is not only I saw my friend cheating on a test and I can not sure other will tell the teacher or not. In the beginning, I will feel embarrassed if I confront to tell my friend I saw it. Maybe after I tell my friend, we won't be the really friend anymore. Not just because I saw it, my friend may think that I want to tell the teacher. If I didn't tell the teacher what I saw even not to tell them the truth that I saw. My friend will not realize cheating is not a good idea. Therefore, they will cheat again and again. If I tell the teacher, it will not only destroy our friendship but also didn't give them the other choice. Everyone want to have a second chance when they done the wrong thing. Willing to giving chance may a good way to change someone's life.

| What skill or skills you possess but would prefer not to demonstrate because a lack of confidence? I was afraid of making mistakes especially for demonstrating the skill that I have. I was afraid of making mistakes in front of lots of people because I would feel embarrassed. I didn't like the feeling when someone laughed at me. For me, I thought without making any mistake so that no one would laugh at me. Therefore, I would prefer not to demonstrate the skill that I have. When I was elementary school, my mom sent me to learn to play the piano. As usual, there would be a performance. The parents of students who learned how to play the piano could understand how great their children were during the performance. One day, my teacher asked me some questions about the performance. She said, "Do you want to perform?" "Do I really have to?" I replied. "I think it's a good chance." The teacher said. At that time, I felt hopeless because I knew that I didn't have any choice and the teacher wouldn't take my answer. I felt depressed because I was unwilling to do that kind of thing. I would be nervous and afraid of making any mistake when I was performing on the stage. |

Therefore, I think all of us should responsible to our grades. Nobody can study for us and cannot decide our life, too. I study hard for getting high grades because I want to attend good college in the future. My friend cheated on the test for getting high grades, but what she did is just lied to her. I won' tell teacher but I will tell my friend that it is wrong and tell her how serious the consequence will be. If she still do not listen to me, which is really her business. To sum up, it is said that "No pains, no gains". If we want to get high grades, the best way and the only way is to study hard. |

| Would you treat you friend differently after making the discovery that the cheated? Cheating! I knew a lot of people who used to want to do or really did it before. It is the most easily error for people to make. We are just humans, we can't be prefect. I wouldn't treat my friend differently even I found him cheated. We would make some mistakes sometimes and I knew he was afraid that he would fail the test again, so he chose to do that. In this time, all I can do just try to let him know that I did see what you do; while I wouldn't tell anyone and when you have problem you should tell me, we can try our best to figure out the best solutions instead of cheating. Making differently attitude of him while just make him feeling upset, get hurt or even guiltier; because he was already felt guilty after cheating, if in the time that I making differently attitude of him, he will be more grieve and feel shy about himself. I don't want to see these things happen, so I would just remind him don't do it again, just put this thing inside of your heart for being a secret between us and remember this lesson. |

Sometimes, we will see someone make mistake, but we may pretend not to see on account of we don't want to make him/she feel uncomfortable at that situation. For example, once our class cheated together. At first, the teacher pretended there was nothing happen. After some time, the teacher became angry. She couldn't help scolding on all my classmates. In the end .the Chinese teacher decided not to test us again to punish us. Therefore, from that day on, we don't have any small test again. Although the teacher had forgive us, she didn't change her mind about the test, she only gave us a chance to become better. Whatever, we should give a chance to forgive the people who make a mistake. |

Have more self-confidence than before will change a lot of to my life. I will think I am more valuable than before. That means, when I do something, I will believe that I can do it well. Never give up any hope and dare to try any challenge.
It is usual that people do something hard but fall it. For example, if you practice very hard to give a speech in English, but at last you speak very poor of it. What will you do in the next time? Never speak English in front of people or keep your self-confidence again to try it more? The loser is for the person who doesn't try it and don't believe yourself. If you believe yourself that you could do it, than the hope of success will get higher. That is what people often say. Success is trying again and again. Thu, don't doubt yourself and believe what you do. The winner is for you.

Despite that student's are not born to be dominated by teachers, being adorable makes others delighted. William Shakespeare once said"Coward die many times before their deaths, the valiant never taste of death but once."In plain language, only the spirits who has cried before, can make the dreams be achievable. Due to the teacher offered a chance, we should grab it and give it a try. If the greatest talent lies on the meadow all day, let the breeze brush, the eyes look at the sky, will not patronize him either in so gentle inspiration. The story, The Tortoise and The Hare, best described the principle of diligence makes up for deficiency. Hare paused to rest on its way toward success. On the other hand, the tortoise walked slow, but steady. It never, ever stopped until he came to the finish line. Whenever you want to be competent in a technique, you have to practice over and over again. Hence, I would accept the request in order to enhance my ability. |
